Lake Obersee is located at the Stalle pass on East Tyrolean terrain. This mountain pass separates South Tyrol from East Tyrol, thus Italy from Austria 👈 The road to the Passo Stalle, just 15 km away from our hotel, is a highlight for all motorcyclists 🏍 Lake Obersee is a nice destination to have a walk at a refreshing altitude or to start a mountain hike from there. The eponymous Oberseehütte mountain hut on its shore invites to stop in. And the lake is also well-known for the worldwide highest located dragon boat race, which takes place every year.
